Kei Kee Dessert: Famous B仔涼粉 (B-zai Leung Fun)

Kei Kee Dessert is a famous chinese dessert spot in Yuen Long, Hong Kong. They are known for their fresh fruits, cheap prices and massive portions The giant bowl below only costs about HKD$75. It's really cheap for the massive bowl of fruits and grass jelly. We couldn't finish it despite splitting it among 5 of us (after dinner of course).

They also serve a large variety of other fruit bowls, such as with ice cream or shaved ice. It is also less inaccessible these days after opening MTR stations in Yuen Long.

Summer Palace, Island Shangri-La: Top Dim Sum Restaurant in Hong Kong

Summer Palace at Island Shangri-La is considered by the locals to be one of the best dimsum restaurants in Hong Kong. This place also has 2 Michelin stars awarded as well. Probably easily inferred from the high prices for your normal dimsum dishes. I couldn't believe that shrimp dumplings (4pcs) could set me back at HKD$80, when most restaurants only price it at HKD$28 (and even cheaper when you go for tea time and breakfast). But I guess the locals know the quality of dimsum best to justify paying such a high premium for the fare.

Their crispy charsiew pork buns are of course, way more expensive than those sold at Tim Ho Wan. However, the affluent and busy wouldn't be waiting in line for the more affordable fare.

Despite visiting Hong Kong often, it was the first time I tried the sago pudding. Perhaps it's only served in higher end restaurants? It's pretty good though. It tasted a lot like light custard mixed with sago.

Myung Ga Korean Restaurant: Quality Kbbq

Myung Ga is a kbbq restaurant that serves quality meat. The restaurant also hires korean waitresses who will go around helping customers to cut up and grill the meat. I guess it's all about the authentic kbbq experience.

Apart from meat, they also serve a variety of cooked korean dishes as well.

Honestly, I cannot recall what we ordered but there were beef short ribs and a lot of beef items. There was also M9 wagyu beef as well. The restaurant claims to be the only one that imports M9 beef in Hong Kong. Sure, the beef melts in your mouth. Everything served here was great, although I'm not sure if I will ever return here if I had to pay for it. Oops.

Showcase by Bread n Butter: Marriage between fashion and tea

Showcase is a cafe established by Bread n Butter, a fashion clothing brand. It is opened alongside a Bread n Butter outlet, which enables shoppers to relax and enjoy a tea set in the afternoon. Nevertheless, they serve delicious crepes and tea sets. Everything about it is also extremely pleasing to the eye. Talk about being fashionable.

Their desserts were absolutely delicious, and I will definitely be back at PMQ to shop as well. Some of the shops here are reserved for local designers, which is why this place is extremely hipster. There are also some high-end restaurants for fine dining (I think there are 2) with killer interior designs. I managed to get a tour of one of the restaurants because my mum's friend made a reservation for the next day anyway. It was overwhelmingly classy and chic, and I really can't describe its unique ambiance.

Shanghai Jade: Classy Shanghainese Restaurant in Hong Kong

Shanghai Jade was a restaurant that demonstrated the perfect blend of Western culture with Shanghainese cuisine. I was dazzled by the plates which had different designs on each of them. Absolutely beautiful and unique. I didn't take pictures of the restaurant itself because I was slightly embarrassed to do so. Everything about it was so classy and chic. It was basically a perfect combination of crystal chandeliers, black and white. Plus it would have been rude and conspicuous if I pointed my camera at other diners. But of course, such things could cost a bomb in Hong Kong, especially since this restaurant is in the Central area.

Food served here was also delectable. I didnt manage to snap pictures of everything we ordered though.
